Hold to open a glance. Press and hold any data field and the watch opens that metric's own Garmin screen: heart rate, steps, calories, Body Battery and the rest (only on watch models with a touchscreen). Distance opens the steps glance, since that is where the daily figure lives.

Digital time as a data field. Pick it for any position on the ring. It follows the watch's own 24 hour or am/pm setting.

Second hand styles. Signature keeps the counterweight, Simple is the bare needle, Tick marks the seconds on the dial, and Off leaves it out. Signature is the default.

IMPROVED

Sharper hour markers. The twelve markers are now drawn from antialiased artwork rather than filled live, so the rounded tips are smooth at every size.

Correct white on fēnix 7 class displays. The dial white was being dimmed for AMOLED on every watch, which on a memory in pixel display rounded down to gray. Hands, numerals and hub now match the markers.

Long values fit better. A value too wide for a compact position is tightened slightly instead of crowding its neighbors.

The Week field is now called Calendar week, in every language.

FIXED

Temperature was off by one degree. It truncated where the watch's own weather screen rounds, so 8.6 showed as 8. Reported by a reviewer as the weather being way off.

Temperature in Fahrenheit could be wrong rather than merely rounded, because the conversion used whole number division.

Battery truncated the same way, showing 99 where Garmin shows 100.
