Open the Connect IQ Store app on your phone, search for the face by name and install it. It reaches your watch at the next sync. Watches that carry the Connect IQ Store can install it on the watch itself, too.
Each face page has a Get it on Connect IQ button that takes you straight to its store page: Minimalist Analog Easy Read, Minimalist Analog Easy Read Light, Minimalist Analog Easy Read - Data Plus.
The Connect IQ Store sells the face, and it sets the price for your country. You see it on the store page, and the store handles the purchase. This site only describes the faces and sends you there.
No. You buy and install the face in the Connect IQ Store, and there is no code to enter. Once installed, every setting is yours.
The faces run on 65 Garmin watch models, AMOLED and MIP. Each face reads the screen type when it starts and draws for it. The store page of each face lists every supported model: check yours there before you install.
The way in depends on your watch. Each face page lists Garmin's own steps for every watch family, from the owner's manuals: Minimalist Analog Easy Read, Minimalist Analog Easy Read Light, Minimalist Analog Easy Read - Data Plus.
On your phone, open the Garmin Connect app, then your device, Appearance, Watch Face. Find the face under Connect IQ, open it and select Settings.
About Minimalist Analog Easy Read and Minimalist Analog Easy Read Light
It hides all three data slots, so the dial, the hands and the date stay and nothing else. Switch it in the settings, or hold the center of the dial to toggle it (only on watch models with a touchscreen). Your choice survives a restart and shows in Garmin Connect.
It is an action, not a switch. On Minimalist Analog Easy Read and Minimalist Analog Easy Read Light it puts the three slots back to Steps, Body Battery and Calories. On Minimalist Analog Easy Read - Data Plus it puts the ring back to its eight shipped slots. Every other setting, like the accent color and the second hand, stays as you set it.

Up to twelve slots around the ring, packed clockwise from the top. Each slot takes one of 16 fields and a size: Compact takes one position, Long takes two, so twelve compact slots fill the ring. Add slot and Remove slot manage the list on the watch. See every field.
Yes. Turn on Battery in days and the Battery reading shows the days remaining, as "3d". Turn it off for percent. It is on by default on Minimalist Analog Easy Read and Minimalist Analog Easy Read Light, and off by default on Minimalist Analog Easy Read - Data Plus.
A watch face gets its input only from the touchscreen, and hold is the one gesture it receives. On watches without a touchscreen, the Forerunner 255, 255 Music, 255s and 255s Music and the Instinct 3 AMOLED 45 mm and 50 mm, the buttons belong to the watch, so a hold does nothing there. Press DOWN from the watch face to reach the glances instead. On Minimalist Analog Easy Read and Minimalist Analog Easy Read Light, switch Hide data slots in the settings rather than holding the center.
On a touchscreen watch, a hold on Daily distance, Time, Calendar week or Date also does nothing: those readings have no Garmin glance of their own.
Hold the data slot (only on watch models with a touchscreen). The watch opens that reading's own Garmin glance: the heart rate page for Heart rate, the steps page for Steps, and so on.
It shows whichever comes next: the sunrise before dawn, the sunset through the day, and the next sunrise after dusk.
The ISO 8601 week, shown as W and the number. Weeks start on Monday, and week 1 is the week with the first Thursday of the year.
Yes. Numbers use the thousands separator of your watch and the units it is set to (metric or US/imperial). Time follows the watch's 12 or 24 hour setting. Temperature comes from the watch's own sensor or its weather, as the watch provides it.
The language of your watch. The settings and the day names on the dial are in 32 languages. On Minimalist Analog Easy Read - Data Plus the day and month names on the dial are in 24 of them, and the settings in all 32.
Always-on redraws only once a minute, and on an AMOLED screen every lit pixel costs power, so it keeps to the basics.
Minimalist Analog Easy Read keeps the hands, the numbers and the date, and rests the second hand and the data slots. Minimalist Analog Easy Read Light does the same on a dark dial, so the light face costs no battery at rest. Minimalist Analog Easy Read - Data Plus keeps the dial readable and drops the accent color and the second hand. On MIP watches the face stays fully drawn.
MIP screens show 64 colors, and each accent takes the nearest one they can show. On AMOLED screens you get the full tone. Each face also tunes its own palette for its dial, so the same color name can be a different shade from one face to another.
A review in the Connect IQ Store belongs to the version you had installed when you wrote it, and it cannot be edited or rated again. A new version can be reviewed afresh. So if an update fixed something for you, a review of the new version is welcome.
